Speaking today at the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) 60th Raising Day in Tezpur, Assam, Mr. Shah remarked as much. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Border Security Force (BSF), and the Special Security Bureau (SSB) were recognized by the Home Minister for their contributions to the decrease of the Naxal influence in the nation.

In addition to policing the nation’s borders, Mr. Shah stated that the SSB is crucial to maintaining the customs and traditions of the regions that border the country. He went on to say that the SSB guaranteed local participation in its operations in addition to border defense. He praised the work done by SSB agents in locating and seizing weapons and drugs near borders.
