New Delhi: To ensure decongestion and a smooth flow of passengers at the airports, the Civil Aviation Ministry has instructed all airlines to deploy enough staff at the check-in and baggage drop points. In this regard, the Ministry has sent letters to all the Airlines. It also recommended posting real-time information on the wait times at the corresponding airports’ entry gates on their social media channels.

In the letter, it was noted that the airlines checking counters at some airports are discovered to be unmanned or inadequately manned during the early hours, causing congestion and aggravating the customers.
