The development projects launched by PM Narendra Modi total more over Rs. 29,000 crore.

Surat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi just arrived in Surat while on a two-day visit to his home state of Gujarat. The residents of the Diamond City gave him a warm welcome and flocked to Limbayat in great numbers to watch the Prime Minister’s Road Show.

In a short time, the Prime Minister will formally launch a number of projects totaling more than 3400 crore rupees and dedicate them to the country. Along with numerous infrastructural initiatives, the projects include construction activity at the grandiose DREAM City project and the laying of the cornerstone for a new ecological Diversity Park in Surat. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate Dream City’s main gate, which was constructed for 9.53 crore rupees.

Later, the prime minister will go to Bhavnagar to announce a number of development projects totaling more than 5,200 crore rupees. Among these is the laying of the cornerstone for the world’s first CNG terminal in Bhavnagar. In Bhavnagar, the prime minister will also conduct a road show.
