The Center approves thirty-six thousand rupees to build 25,000 new telecom towers.

New Delhi: The government has sanctioned spending of 36,000 crore rupees to erect 25,000 new telecom towers throughout the nation during the next 500 days.
In her closing remarks at the Digital India Conference of State IT Ministers in New Delhi, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw made this statement. According to him, the list of locations for tower installation has been created in conjunction with the States, and they are welcome to evaluate it further. According to Mr. Vaishnaw, connectivity is essential for Digital India to spread throughout the entire nation.
The Minister commended each State and each Union Territory for their prompt integration into PM Gati Shakti. He also disclosed the approval of special assistance to States for capital expenditures of 2000 crore rupees. In order to draw firms to their States, Mr. Vaishnaw urged the States to take the initiative and implement business-friendly legislation.
