The 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention gets underway In Madhya Pradesh.

Indore: Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Sports, and Youth Affairs, has asked young Indians living abroad to create and invest in India because of the country’s enormous economic potential. On the first day of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore, Mr. Thakur spoke to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Youth Conference and noted that there are new avenues for investment in the space and drone industries.

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a three-day Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention has started. The convention will be formally opened tomorrow by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Thakur mentioned the time of the Corona epidemic when he said, “In the time of tragedy, we did not depend on the world.” More than 100 nations received vaccines from India, in addition to the more than 200 crore vaccine doses that were sent out. He continued by saying that no nation in the world could even begin to comprehend what India has accomplished.

The Union Minister stated that we have advanced by leaving behind the economics of the country that dominated us for 200 years in reference to the development of the Indian economy. Mr. Thakur quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi as saying, “We don’t see the colour of your passport; we see the relationship between your blood and your Indianness.” Along with S Jaishankar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, and Australian MP Janeta, other speakers on the programme included Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar. Nisith Pramanik, a minister of state with responsibility for youth affairs, also attended the event.
