New Delhi: The National Capital’s Auto Rickshaw and Taxi tariffs have been updated by the Delhi government. For the first 1.5 kilometres, the price for an auto rickshaw has been raised to 5 rupees. 30 rupees will be the new fare. The per-kilometer cost would increase from nine rupees and fifty paise after 1.5 kilometres to 11 rupees.
According to the regulation, the initial 1.5 kilometres of a taxi ride would now cost 15 rupees more for both AC and non-AC rides. 40 rupees will be the new fare. The per-kilometer fare for non-AC taxis would increase from 14 and 16 rupees to 17 and 20 rupees after 1.5 kilometres, respectively.
Additionally, the government raised the fee for additional luggage from 50 cents to two rupees for auto rickshaws and five rupees for taxis. The nightly fees will remain the same as before.
