Roles and Responsibilities

Our client is a global banking and digital payments company with a global customer base of over 130+ across 30 countries. As a leading provider of Payments technology, they offer an integrated payments portfolio of software products & custom solutions that span across the entire Card Issuance, Omnichannel Acquiring, Digital Banking, Smart Reconciliation, Payment Processing, Monitoring, Digital Security, Payment Analytics and Financial Inclusion across various delivery channels and ecosystems. They are a trusted technology partner to Banks, Central Regulators, Governments, Financial Intermediaries including third-party electronic Payment Processors, Merchants and Payment Associations.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of our client’s Sales & Business Development team, you will be required to identify opportunities, build a pipeline by engaging closely with the target prospects to help address their pain points by positioning the right suite of products in consultation with our solutions team.
  • You would be exposed to large local banks, startup challenger banks, micro-finance institutions, payment processors and merchants within your assigned geographic markets.
  • You will be internally supported by a team of solution specialists, technical architects & service delivery managers along with your APAC regional sales head & your sales peers who will work closely as a team to help you succeed in your sales opportunity.
  • You would own the customer relationship and take charge of ensuring that you represent the client and its products in a professional and responsive manner. You would be responsible for putting together and proposals, RFP responses, delivering sales presentations for your opportunities in a timely manner
  • You will work with the marketing team to provide feedback on planning activities, content relevant to your market and aide your sales activities
  • You will identify and collaborate with your strategic partners provide them the right level of support with a planned and structured approach
  • You will also have the sales discipline to update and reflect your sales activities periodically with the sales CRM tool with accurate forecasting of opportunities to your manager

What you need to have?

  • You would have a sales background of at least 7 years of selling banking or fintech solutions to the FSI industry and a network of contacts within the ASEAN region (Banks, Processors, Acquirers, Financial institutions etc.)
  • Have a good understanding in the existing trends in the ASEAN payments space
  • Experience in successfully selling one or more of the following would be an advantage: Payment systems Switch, Card Management System – Debit & Prepaid, Reconciliation, settlement, and chargeback services, Acquiring solutions like merchant management and settlement solutions etc.,
  • Sales hunger and perseverance with a collaborative attitude to work as a team
  • The role would require you to travel within your geographic territories (as & when travel resumes)
