President Droupadi Murmu urges coordinated international action to alleviate the water problem

Uttar Pradesh: The water crisis, as per President Droupadi Murmu, is a multifaceted and complex problem that requires coordinated international efforts to resolve. According to her, water conservation is facing a significant problem as a result of the negative effects of climate change.

She was speaking during the opening ceremony of the 7th edition of India Water Week in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which was organised by the ministry of water resources, river development, and ganga rejuvenation. Earlier, according to Ms. Murmu, India was experiencing a water crisis, but in recent years, the Central government has implemented a number of programmes and strategies to manage the country’s water scarcity.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, a minister for Jal Shakti, advocated for a comprehensive strategy to address the water crisis because climate change is posing a number of problems for the world. According to him, India is leading the fight against water shortages, and under Prime Minister Narendra the government has set aside a sizeable sum of money to support water conservation efforts across the nation.
