Parliament’s budget session will start on January 31.

New Delhi: The beginning of the Parliament’s Budget Session is set for January 31st, and the presentation of the Union Budget is anticipated for February 1st. President Droupadi Murmu will address the joint Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha session before the session officially begins. Additionally, on the opening day of the session, the Economic Survey will be laid before both Houses.

The budget session, which has 27 sittings spread over 66 days this year, will last through April 6th. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi announced a break from February 14 to March 12 to allow department-related Parliamentary Standing Committees to review grant requests and submit findings pertaining to their Ministries and Departments.
