Over 1100 crore rupees’ worth of 29 road projects in Ladakh was approved by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Ladakh: The state highway, important roads, and other district roads in Ladakh will be covered by twenty-nine road projects that the government has approved, totaling about 1170 crore rupees. Additionally, under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund Scheme, around 182 crore rupees have been set aside for eight bridges for the fiscal year 2023–2024, according to Union Minister of Roads, Transport, and Highways Nitin Gadkari.

The Minister stated that better connectivity to Ladakh’s isolated villages will result from these initiatives. The action is anticipated to boost economic activity, especially in the tourism and agriculture sectors, Mr. Gadkari continued, adding to Ladakh’s overall infrastructure development.
