Narendra Modi unveils several development initiatives totaling 56,000 crore rupees in Telangana

Telangana : Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened 30 development projects valued at over 56,000 crore rupees. These projects are all associated with the rail and road sectors in different states, as well as the oil and petroleum industry. On a two-day tour, the prime minister arrived in Telangana this morning. Mr. Modi dedicated the 800 MW second unit of NTPC’s Telangana Super Thermal Power Project at Peddapalli to the nation during the first part of his tour through Telangana. Out of all the NTPC power plants in the nation, the Ultra-Supercritical Technology-based project will provide 85% of the state’s electricity needs and have the highest power generating efficiency at about 42%.

Speaking on this particular occasion, the prime minister predicted that the process will pick up more speed in the days ahead. He emphasized that today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of development, with the opening of over 30 state-related development projects totaling 56,000 crore rupees. These projects, he claimed, will quicken the pace of growth throughout the region.

The North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Chatra, Jharkhand, its 660 MW unit being turned on, the Fly Ash Based Light Weight Aggregate Plant dedicated in Sipat, Chhattisgarh, and the STP Water to Green Hydrogen Plant dedicated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh are among the projects.
