The mobile workforce will be a reality in the future, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Therefore, he argued, it is now necessary to really globalise the acquisition and exchange of talents. According to Mr. Modi, the G-20 needs to take the lead on this issue. Through a video message, the prime minister addressed the G-20 conference of labour and employment ministers in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister praised the initiatives to begin the international referencing of jobs by skills and certification requirements, noting that this calls for new models of global cooperation & coordination and partnerships in migration & mobility.

Mr. Modi emphasised the value of sharing employee and worker statistics, information, and data. According to him, this will enable nations all around the world to develop evidence-based policies for improved skill development, workforce planning, and gainful employment. The opening session of Ministers and other stakeholders in the labour and employment sector was also addressed by Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bhupendra Yadav.
