Auckland: Launch of “Modi@20” by Dr. S. Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, attended the Auckland book launch for “Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery” and the Kiwi Indian Hall of Fame Awards 2022. Jacinda Ardern, the prime minister of New Zealand, was also present.
At the celebration, members of the Indian community in New Zealand were recognised for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions. Earlier Dr. Jaishankar began his official duties with a traditional Maori welcome. He understood the significance of the joining of two energies. The Minister noted in a tweet how crucial it is for India and New Zealand to respect one another’s cultures and customs.
He also got to know Christopher Luxon, the head of the opposition in New Zealand. According to Dr. Jaishankar, the relationship between India and New Zealand would grow with widespread support and joint efforts.
