New Delhi: The website of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi features a dashboard that displays real-time information on the number of patients awaiting admission for treatment as well as the status of emergency beds that are available.
The institute’s director, Dr. M Srinivas, unveiled the dashboard known as the AIIMS Main Hospital Casualty Dashboard. The new programme will improve hospital openness. Also in the nation’s capital, Dr. Srinivas met with the directors and medical superintendents of the Central and Delhi government hospitals. He emphasised the necessity for hospitals to have emergency beds available in real time, integrated a dashboard showing bed status, and established two-way referrals for both critical and non-critical situations throughout the meeting.
Speaking to reporters, AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr. DK Sharma stated that during the meeting, plans were discussed for developing a cross-referral system for hospital patients as well as an emergency care network.
