India and Greece have decided to enhance their strategic collaboration in a number of areas, including defence, security, and agriculture, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Friday, Mr. Modi stated at a news conference in Athens that he and his Greek colleague, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, would soon reach an agreement on a partnership in mobility and migration. He continued by mentioning the collaboration on geopolitical and regional concerns between Greece and India.

He went on to say that the ancient and solid foundation of our relationship makes India and Greece a natural pairing of two world’s most ancient civilizations. In his opening remarks, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that there is room for extensive bilateral collaboration and that relations between India and Greece have significantly strengthened in recent years.

According to Mr. Mitsotakis, our first goal is to quadruple our bilateral trade, and both countries are prepared to work together to address upcoming problems, particularly during the upheaval and conflict in Ukraine.
