Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh ramp up their state assembly election campaigns.

New Delhi: The selection of candidates for the 2018 Assembly Elections in Gujarat has been hastened by a number of political groups. The names of the final candidates for the 47 assembly seats across 13 districts were announced by the BJP’s State Parliamentary Board. Amit Shah, the home minister, presided over the gathering, which took place at the Party’s headquarters in Gandhinagar.

The board will talk about the candidates for the 11 districts’ 58 Assembly seats. The BJP Parliamentary Board will make the final decision. Aam Admi Party will now reveal the identity of its candidate for chief minister. Manoj Sorathiya, general secretary of the AAP’s state unit, stated that the party will disclose the CM candidate’s name based on a recent survey of the general people. Candidates for 108 assembly seats have so far been named by AAP. Top leaders from the BJP and the Congress have stepped up their electoral campaigns across the state with 8 days until the Himachal elections.

The party vision statement will be released in Shimla by BJP national president JP Nadda. Nitin Gadkari, a union minister, will speak at two consecutive rallies in support of BJP candidates, one each in Jhandutha, Bilaspur, and Mataur, Kangra. Yogi Adityanath, a prominent member of the BJP and the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will also speak at campaign rallies in the kangra district. Additionally, he will speak to an electoral crowd in the district of Bilaspur in support of the party candidate.

Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary of the Congress, will speak at an electoral rally in the Kangra district at Nagrota Bangwa. The 68-member state Assembly is up for election on the 12th of this month.
