Nat Sciver equalled the record for England Women’s fastest IT20 half-century – 24 balls – as the hosts beat India by 18 runs in the first Vitality IT20 at Northampton.It gives Heather Knight’s side an unassailable 8-4 lead in the multi-format series, with two more IT20s to come. Nat Sciver (55) and Amy Jones (43) batted England to 177-7 in their 20 overs and India, in the run chase, were 54-3 when heavy rain forced the players from the field.
