Egypt : In Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh, the 27th Conference of Parties to the UNFCCC (COP 27) session got underway. The conference will run through November 18th. In order to bring about action on matters that are crucial to addressing the climate emergency, it will build on the outcomes of COP26.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, assisting nations in their preparation and response to climate change, and ensuring technical assistance and financial support for developing countries for climate-related activities will be the three key areas of concentration of the conference. The landmark Paris Agreement must be implemented for the benefit of people and the environment, and the COP27 aspires to rekindle international cooperation.
