Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the 18th National Scout – Guide Jamboree at Rohat.

Rohat: The 18th National Scout – Guide Jamboree will be officially opened tomorrow at Rohat in Rajasthan’s Pali district by President Droupadi Murmu. The mega-event, which will take place from January 4 to 10, will draw more than 35,000 scouts and guides from around the nation. It is being held in Rajasthan after 66 years.

A 220-hectare smart village with all the amenities has been set up at Nimble Village to host the participants, and 3500 tents have been placed up at the location. The Indian Airforce Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team’s performance will be the main draw of the tournament. The BSF Camel Squad will also perform a demonstration in addition to this.

The National Jamboree will provide a forum for young scouts to exchange information about their traditions, way of life, crafts, and religion.
