Sriharikota: The LVM3 M 4 rocket carrying Chandrayaan 3 was successfully launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation from the country’s spaceport at Sriharikota’s second launch pad.

A wide range of onlookers watched India’s lunar expedition at the Sathish Dhawan Space Centre. For the hundreds of schoolchildren and people of all ages who had assembled at the location outside the ISRO campus to witness the historical accomplishment, it was a monumental occasion. More than 200 media representatives who had gathered on the media center’s terrace celebrated as the heavy-weight LVM 3 M4 rocket shot into the crystal-clear sky. Even as the rocket took off, guests including minister Dr. Jitendra Singh applauded each other and exchanged pleasantries.

ISRO scientists claimed that completing a successful moon mission was a form of atonement for them. Till the rover touches down on the moon in another thirty days, the mission is not yet finished. India’s status as a major player in the space industry has been bolstered by yet another significant accomplishment.
