New Delhi: Kesang Yangzom Sherpa, Member Secretary of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), issued a call to action for parents, educators, students, and business leaders to come together and change the course of education.

Ms. Sherpa stated that teachers play a crucial part in the overall development of pupils while speaking to the National School Conference in New Delhi today. The National Curriculum Framework for Teachers, she said, will shortly be released by the ministry.

Ms. Sherpa said, “There have been significant advancements in teacher capacity building by the Education Ministry and National Council for Teacher Education.” Ms. Sherpa discussed the need of innovation and stated that dynamic, interactive technology is essential. Positive improvements will be heralded by interwoven links connecting knowledge, employment, and critical thinking, according to her.
