Gujarat: Rajnath Singh, the Raksha Mantri, urged businesses to produce cutting-edge goods at competitive prices in order to compete globally.

Rajnath Singh spoke at Gandhinagar, Gujarat’s Raksha Mantri Awards ceremony for Excellence in the defence and aerospace sector for the year 2021–2022, outlining the Ministry of Defence  of showcasing the capabilities of India’s defence and aerospace sector to the rest of the world.

Shri Rajnath Singh emphasised that the aerospace and defence industry is currently worth over 80,000 crores of rupees, with the private sector’s contribution rising to roughly 17,000 crores. The prize presentation was place in Gandhinagar as part of the 12th DefExpo. There were 22 prizes given out in total, with 13 going to private businesses and the remaining 14 to DPSUs and PSUs.
