1. Purpose - To manage, control and organize Power System Study department.
- To oversee power system studies software simulation, study reports, relay setting/ coordination and project management.
- Active participation in finalizing technical papers for national and international conferences.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Description):- Ensure that overall functions of Power System Studiesdepartment meet the directions given by Executive Manager, Power.
- Assist Executive Manager, Power in budget planning and meeting business targets of sales, revenues & profit/ loss.
- Execute Power system study projects by managing its contractual, commercial & technical responsibilities in a way that ensures completion in a profitable manner complying with project schedule and quality requirement.
- Guide section manager for effective delivery of projects at immediate level and engineers, at next level.
- Manage client relationships, team communications and monitor performance of projects (w.r.t stake holders, partners, sub-consultants, client etc.) by taking appropriate actions as required.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Power System Studiesdepartment as per company policy and management directives.

4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATINSHIPS: - Communication
- Internal: With management/ staff, manager(s), engineers, admin staff (through email/ mobile/ communicator).
- External: Client, partners, sub-consultants, suppliers, other stake holders (external)
- 5. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering with professional certifications/ accreditations
- Experience in various power system studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor starting, Transient stability study, Small signal stability study, FACTS studies, HVDC studies, Insulation coordination studies, TRV study, Ferro resonance study, ARC Flash study, VAR compensation studies, Relay setting and coordination study etc.).
- Minimum Experience:
- 16+ Years
- Generic Skills:
- Technical paper presentation in power system study conferences.
- Perform Technical trainings.
- Be familiar with gird codes and international/national standards in power system studies.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Power systems study software (PSSE, ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP-RV, ROWPRO etc.).
- Be a creative leader in project management. Have excellent technical skills and be able to mentor staff in their own development.
- Excellent communication skills, both in presentation and documentation with a good command over English. Acquaintance to Arabic would be an advantage.
