Varanasi: Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh marked the start of the four-day Youth 20 Summit. As part of India’s G20 Presidency, it is being organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The Y20 Summit is the result of a number of gatherings, such as the Inception Meeting in Guwahati, the Pre Summit in Leh, Ladakh, and several Jan Bhagidari activities held throughout the nation in the lead-up to this major Summit.

The Summit, though, won’t actually start until tomorrow. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Anurag Singh Thakur, the minister for youth affairs and sports in the Union, will both be there. The four-day Summit is being attended by about 125 participants from G20 nations, Guest nations, and international organisations, according to an Akashvani journalist. The attendees were taken to the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, today for the first day of the meeting, where they visited the Precision Engineering Hub and Supercomputing Centre.

The participating delegates will talk on five Y20-identified themes during the Summit. Future of Work: Industry 4.0, Innovation and 21st Century Skills, Peacebuilding and Reconciliation: Ushering in an Era of No War, and Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction are some of the issues that will be covered. young specialists, decision-makers, and young representatives from G20 nations will come together at the Y20 Summit to negotiate, finalise, and sign the Y20 Communiqué that was produced as a result of the conversations held over the previous few months. This Y20 Communiqué will highlight the core of India’s shared vision, which covers the five noted themes.
