Voting for People’s Choice 2024, Dekho Apna Desh, is still available till this month’s 15th. The purpose of the nationwide survey is to interact with the public in order to determine the most popular tourist destinations and to gain insight into how visitors view the five different types of tourism: spiritual, cultural heritage, nature, wildlife, adventure, and others. Voting for personal favorites in the “others” category will enable residents to uncover the nation’s undiscovered tourism destinations.
The official website of the Ministry of Tourism provides residents with access to the voting portal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced this project in Srinagar in March of this year. This initiative allows voters to cast ballots in five different categories. They include spirituality, nature and animals, cultural heritage, adventure, and other things. In addition to the four primary categories, there is a “other” category where participants can cast their vote for their own personal favorite location and contribute to the discovery of undiscovered tourist attractions and destinations, such as lively border communities, wellness travel, and wedding tourism. Through a special gateway, users can cast their votes using both their email address and mobile number for any category. The results will be used to identify India’s Top Tourist Attractions, which are expected to garner significant funding and support from important players.
