A proposal to promote research for Atmanirbhar Bharat in line with the objectives of National Education Policy 2020 has been approved by the Haryana Government. The Vice Chancellors of the state-funded and private universities have been asked in a letter from the Haryana State Higher Education Council to abide by the suggested rules.The proposal includes fellowships for Chief Ministers in problem-solving studies, social science, humanities, and technology.

An official spokeswoman claimed that the four key objectives encompass a wide range of topics. First, finding answers to the issues that diverse systems, such as agriculture, industry, social system, economy, and technology, are currently facing. The second goal is to develop a reliable database for the formation and execution of policies. The third goal is to examine potential growth sectors in order to provide the state’s young with additional opportunities for employment. He claimed that 37 specific study topics had been chosen for this project after consultation sessions.

Each initiative will receive money that ranges from 75,000 to 1,00,000 rupees, depending on the size and scope of the project and expert recommendations. Through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, the sponsoring institutions will also look for a 25 percent matching contribution.
