Gandhinagar: Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance To Industries was introduced by the state government of Gujarat in Gandhinagar. The initiative is anticipated to draw a proposed investment of close to 12.50 lakh crore rupees in the state and to create employment for roughly 15 lakh people in the coming days, according to chief minister Bhupendra Patel, who was speaking to the media in Gandhinagar.
According to the chief minister, nine industries have been designated as push manufacturing sectors in line with Aatmanirbhar Bharat, including the green energy ecosystem, sustainability, and mobility. Numerous incentives are suggested by the strategy for MSMEs, large businesses, and mega-industries.
This comprises, among other things, the employer’s payment to the EPF for new employees for ten years, the exemption from electricity duty for companies for five years, and reimbursement of Net SGST to MSMEs and major industries up to 75% of fixed capital expenditure over ten years. The strategy also suggests giving Mega and large firms interest subsidies of up to 12%.
