With monsoon knocking the door, it is important to take extra care of yourself, more so when COVID is already wrecking havoc in the country.
One of the most important rules is to eat seasonal vegetables like bitter gourd, parwal, tinda and cluster beans (guar).
Some easily digestible spices during monsoon are garlic, hing, pepper, ginger, turmeric, jeera powder and coriander. Try and use them while cooking instead of other spices.
Fruits are good for the body as they help us in restoring the energy. Go for mangoes, apples, pomegranates and pears.
Pakoras and samosas go well with tea and coffee during monsoons. But fried foods are not good as these tend to have high salt levels. Hence, try and avoid them.
