Piyush Goyal the Minister of Commerce and Industry, stated during the Amrit Kaal that startups will determine the nation’s path to development. Administered by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, he made this statement in New Delhi during the Startup and State Ranking Awards. Mr. Goyal encouraged individuals of all ages to become involved in the startup community and support innovation and research. Mr. Goyal recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for startups, stating that technological innovation, cutting-edge skills, artificial intelligence, and futuristic technologies will shape India’s future. The Startup India initiative, which he claimed was celebrating National Startup Day, began as a creative idea in 2016 and has since spread throughout the country.
Mr. Goyal thanked the recipients and stated that the government places a high premium on startups. The Minister underscored the significance of generating novel concepts across many industries, such as tourism and agriculture. He thanked the startup honorees and stated that more should be done to encourage states to share best practices.
