Hyderabad: Skyroot Aerospace will open the nation’s first integrated rocket design, manufacturing, and testing facility in Hyderabad for Telangana.
The facility to develop, produce, and test rockets in the state will get full backing from the start-up, according to state IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao. Yesterday, November 25, he took part in an event held at T-Hub to commemorate Skyroot Aerospace’s successful launch of the Vikram-S rocket.
The T-Hub-incubated Hyderabad startup launched the nation’s first private rocket earlier this month.
The minister was ecstatic that a Hyderabad-based spacetech business had overcome all obstacles. Only a select few businesses, according to him, have mastered rocket technology and found immediate success.
