Starting Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-day visit to Kanyakumari. He should arrive at Kanyakumari from Trivandrum at approximately 4 p.m. He is scheduled to visit the Temple of Bhagavathi. Using the M.L. Vivekananda ship, Mr. Modi will journey to the Swami Vivekananda Memorial. He will visit the Thiruvalluvar statue on June 1st, following three days of meditation at the memorial. He will then take a chartered airplane on June 1 to return to Trivandrum.
