New Delhi: PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi’s Indian Agriculture Research Institute, Pusa. More than 13,000 farmers and over 150 Agri Startups from across the nation will attend the conference. From various institutions, more than one crore farmers will virtually attend the event.
According to Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar, during the conference, the Prime Minister will disburse the 12th tranche of 16,000 crore rupees for the PM-KISAN flagship programme. Through direct benefit transfer, the instalment will be given to more than eight crore farmers.
The Prime Minister will also debut the online fertiliser magazine “Indian Edge.” It will include information on current events, pricing trend analysis, availability and consumption patterns, farmer success stories, and possibilities for domestic and international fertiliser use.
