Narendra Modi introduces the YUVA 2.0 scheme to mentor young authors.

New Delhi: Narendra Modi introduced the Prime Minister’s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors (YUVA 2.0) to advance reading, writing, and the nation’s book culture. YUVA 2.0 has been introduced in light of the inaugural edition’s great impact, which included widespread involvement from young and aspiring writers in 22 different Indian languages in addition to English.
According to the Education Ministry, the Prime Minister’s goal of inspiring young people to understand and value India’s democracy is aligned with the launch of YUVA 2.0 (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors). In order to advance the Indian legacy, culture, and knowledge system, it will be beneficial to create a stream of writers who are capable of writing on a variety of topics.
According to the Ministry, an All India Contest will be held at www.mygov.in from October 2 through November 30, this year, to pick 75 authors. The winners will be revealed on February 28 of the upcoming year. From March 1 through August 31, 2023, the young authors will receive instruction from renowned writers and mentors.
