Sriharikota: The Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota witnessed the launch of the nation’s first private Vikram Suborbital rocket. Three payloads weighing a combined 83 kilogrammes were carried by the rocket to a height of 89.5 miles.
Approximately 115 kilometres after taking off from Sriharikota, the rocket successfully landed in the Bay of Bengal. Praram, the rocket’s mission includes payloads from Space Kidz India, Bazoomq Armenia, and N-Space Tech India. These payloads are fitted with sensors that can detect pressure, acceleration, and other things.
After the launch, Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister for Space, declared that it was a new beginning for India’s space programme. According to him, this was a significant step toward developing India’s own space ecosystem.
