New Delhi: Chandrayaan-3, India’s planned lunar mission, will take out from Sriharikota this week. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and Technology, stated in an interview on July 9, 2023, that this will make India the fourth nation to successfully perform a soft landing on the Moon’s surface. The mission, the minister continued, aims to show off India’s prowess in soft landing and wandering on the lunar surface. He stated that the mission would carry out in-situ scientific investigations and provide valuable photos with a rover outfitted with numerous cameras.

As a result of Chandrayaan-1’s discoveries, which included the existence of water on the Moon’s surface, the Minister expressed confidence that Chandrayaan-3 will perform at the highest level.
