India and Cambodia sign 4 MOUs of understanding in the areas of culture, wildlife, and health.

New Delhi: On the fringes of the present ASEAN Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar met privately with Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia. Wide-ranging discussions on bilateral relations, including human resources, demining, and development initiatives, took place.

The four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) inked in the fields of culture, wildlife, and health were exchanged in front of the leaders. One of these was in the area of health and medicine and involved the Ministries of Health and Family Welfare of India and Cambodia.

The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change of India and the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia for Cooperation in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Wildlife Management signed the second Memorandum of Understanding for the reintroduction of tigers in Cambodia.
