New Delhi: The Union Government is aiming to improve retirees’ quality of life nationwide. Together, the several ministries are creating a Face Authentication technology-based system in this direction. This method will enable Pensioners and Family Pensioners to submit digital life certificates from any Android-based smart phone.
According to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the service would use the Face Authentication technology to verify a person’s identity.
This technology is being developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Portal, and the Unique Identification Authority of India.
