New Delhi: The government is implementing a number of actions to improve the nation’s infrastructure, provide high-quality medical education, and develop the health sector.

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya responded to supplementaries during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha by stating that the Center has increased the number of MBBS seats from 14000 in 2014 to 96000 while also increasing the number of PG seats to 64000.

Regarding the paucity of professors at medical colleges, he stated that the state government and the private sector must assure an adequate number of professors and urged them to do so. He declared that the Center is dedicated to provide the nation high-quality medical education.
