New Delhi: The Government claims that the required steps have been made to reduce traffic and wait times at the Delhi Airport. These actions have reduced boarding line wait times at checkpoints and entry gates and improved passenger flow.

The Civil and Aviation Ministry announced today that internal security has been boosted with six additional officers, evenly distributed across all gates. For crowd control, count metres, CCTV, and command centres have been installed. It said that more people and four X-ray equipment had been added for the purpose of checking bags. According to the Ministry, real-time data displays that are posted on social media have been put at each airport departure entrance gate.
