In the men’s 51 kg division, Indian boxer Amit Pangal won the coveted Paris Olympic quota on Sunday. He defeated China’s Liu Chuang in the World Boxing Qualifiers in Bangkok, winning the quarterfinals with a resounding 5-nil score. Amit joins Nishant Dev, Nikhat Zareen, Preeti Pawar, and bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain as the five Indian boxers to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
