A copyright advice alert has been released by NCERT, the National Council of Educational Research and Training, regarding the infringement of its educational products. It stated that anyone or anything that publishes NCERT textbook information for commercial use without a copyright clearance will face legal action under the Copyright Act.

The educational organization also advised people not to use these kinds of textbooks or workbooks since they can include inaccurate information. It further recommended that anyone who finds such pirated workbooks or textbooks notify NCERT right away by sending an email to pd.ncert@nic.in.

The NCERT further emphasized that it is viewed as an authorized repository of educational teaching and learning resources and that it is in charge of creating and distributing textbooks for all school education levels.
