In an effort to improve claimant support services, the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) has introduced a new five-digit toll-free number, 1-4-4-5-3. Users will have access to an improved call center and an upgraded, multilingual Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) with the new toll-free number. According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Call Center will be open weekdays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM during business hours, and the IVRS will be operational around-the-clock to guarantee that help is always available.
As part of the upgrade, the previous toll-free number is no longer in use. According to the Ministry, the new approach is anticipated to drastically cut wait times and raise claimants’ level of satisfaction in general.
