Ten percent of the population will be reserved for former Agniveers by central forces. In the midst of controversy surrounding the Agnipath plan, the central forces declared their intention to reserve 10% of their seats for former Agniveers. According to the chiefs of central forces, including Sashastra Seema Bal, the Central Reserve Police Force, the Central Industrial Security Force, and the Border Security Force, former Agniveers will not be required to take the Physical Efficiency Test and will receive an age relaxation.
The Home Ministry has made significant progress in enlisting former fugitives for the Central Armed Police Forces, according to CISF Director General Nina Singh. Speaking with the media, she stated that CISF has also undertaken the necessary preparations in this area. She went on to say that ex-agniveers would be given preference for constable openings at 10%, and they would also receive a waiver from the Physical Efficiency Test.
Nitin Agrawal, the director general of the Border Security Force, stated that nothing could be finer than the soldiers who are preparing. He said that it would benefit all armies and that ex-agniveers would receive a 10% recruitment reservation. Ten percent of the constable positions in the Railway Protection Force would be reserved for former ally personnel, according to Manoj Yadava, Director General of the RPF.
