Chris Silverwood, the former head coach of Sri Lanka, has resigned from his position as coach of the men’s team, citing personal reasons. After his demanding work as the coach, Silverwood expressed in a statement that he would like to spend time with his family and loved ones.

After going on to become the head coach of the England men’s team, Silverwood assumed leadership of the Sri Lankan team in April 2022. Sri Lanka won 26 ODIs, 18 T20Is, and 8 Tests while he was their coach.
