Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Yavatmal, Maharashtra. Over 4,900 crore rupees worth of rail, road, and irrigation infrastructure projects will be officially opened and dedicated by Mr. Modi to the nation. At a public meeting in Yavatmal, the Prime Minister will also unveil the 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) initiative, which is valued at over 21,000 crore rupees. At the Yavatmal SHG convention, Mr. Modi would also award 5.5 lakh women’s self-help groups (SHGs) in Maharashtra with a Revolving Fund worth 825 crore rupees.
The prime minister will officially open rail projects in Maharashtra valued at more than 1,300 crore rupees. Among these projects are the wide gauge lines connecting New Ashti and Amalner and Wardha-Kalamb. The construction of the new broad gauge lines will accelerate development and increase connectivity between the Vidarbha and Marathwada areas.
