A full-day “Purple Fest” at Rashtrapati Bhawan’s Amrit Udyaan will be opened by President Droupadi Murmu. ‘International Purple Fest, 2024’ in Goa in January proved to be a great success, and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, is organising the Purple Fest.
Over ten thousand Divyangjan will also be gathering for the Fest at Amrit Udyan, escorted by their entourages. Organizations promoting accessibility, inclusion, and disability rights will have fully inclusive and interactive booths at the “Purple Fest.”
Purple Cafe, Purple Kaleidoscope, Purple Live Experience Zone, Purple Sports, Know Your Disabilities, and Amrit Udyaan visit will be the main events at “Purple Fest.”
