New Delhi: To guarantee the smooth operation of both Houses, the government called an all-party conference today in advance of the temporary Budget Session of Parliament. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi told the reporters during the meeting in New Delhi that the administration is prepared to tackle any topic at the chair’s request. In order to maintain orderly proceedings in both Houses, he pleaded with the opposition parties to work with the government and refrain from bringing signs.

Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said in a post-meeting interview with the media that they discussed the concerns about the purported assault on the federal structure. He added that during the next interim budget session, Congress and a number of opposition parties will bring up the issues of mounting national debt, inflation, and unemployment.

Tomorrow is the start of the interim budget session, which will run through the ninth of the next month. President Droupadi Murmu will open the session with a speech. On Thursday, the Interim Union Budget will be presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
