Union Minister V.K. Singh said that India is the world leader in start-ups and investments.

V.K. Singh the Union Minister of State for Highways and Civil Aviation, said that India had placed first in start-ups and that investments had come from 162 nations, creating thousands of jobs for young people. He said that the government’s actions were responsible for India’s 6.5 percent economic development while speaking at the 38th Convocation Ceremony at Vellore Institute of Technology today.

The Minister stated that over the previous nine years, foreign direct investments in 62 other departments, including telecommunications and railways, have improved the nation’s economy. The Minister stated that the Government had the right to establish a medical college in each area while listing the many accomplishments of the Government.

Mr. Singh exhorted the pupils to stick with their studies and arm themselves with a variety of life skills. To 8619 students enrolled in the Institute, the Minister presented 65 gold medals and degree certificates.
