New Delhi: Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which aims to increase civic pride, got under way. The movement, which will last till August 15th, has received the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Modi urged people to post their images of the Tiranga to harghartiranga.com while making an appeal on social media site X.
The Tiranga represents the spirit of independence and racial harmony, according to the prime minister. Every Indian, according to him, has a strong emotional bond with the tricolour, which motivates them to put in more effort in order to advance the country’s development. So far, more than 66 lakh users have shared selfies featuring Tiranga.
In keeping with the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, the prime minister also invited the public to update the default profile picture on their social media profiles. In order to strengthen the relationship between the people and the country, he pleaded with the public to lend their support to this extraordinary initiative.
The government is commemorating Har Ghar Tiranga under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, according to the Union Ministry of Culture. The purpose is to remember the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, emphasising enhanced Jan Bhagidari and group engagement.
