New Delhi: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh has stated that Agnipath is a game-changing programme for the Armed Forces that will function as a force multiplier to make the Indian military one of the greatest in the world with a young, high-tech, and ultra-modern attitude.
He was speaking electronically at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship today as part of the Outreach Program for the MoU Exchange Ceremony in New Delhi. Mr. Singh went into greater detail on the paradigm-shifting changes the Agnipath project will bring about in the Armed Forces’ transformation into a technologically advanced, well-equipped, and combat-ready unit to meet upcoming challenges.
The Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and all three Services participated in the event and signed or exchanged memoranda of understanding (MoU) or agreements with various stakeholders to facilitate Agnivesers’ continued education while serving in the Armed Forces and the award of appropriate skill certificates in line with their expertise or experience.
